Smitty's Maintenance Repair is looking for a FULL-TIME experienced Automotive Technician to work on all makes and models! Our Service Center is a small group that works together to succeed. We need a team player that aims for growth as an individual and as a group. If this sounds like you, come join the team!
Required Qualifications:
- MUST be at least 18 y/o
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- State Inspection & Emissions Certifications
- Must have your own tools
- Must have 3 years experience
- A.S.E. Certification preferred, but not required
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (photos & videos) on every vehicle regardless of year, make, or model.
- Perform routine maintenance, state inspections, mechanical repairs, diagnostic testing, etc. with top quality service
- Clearly communicate findings and repair plans to the advisor (and manager if necessary)
- Efficiently perform jobs in a timely manner while maintaining safety protocols
- Maintain open communication with advisor and team member(s) to ensure optimal customer service
- Participate in on-going training and education programs to stay current on technology
- Comply with safety regulations and industry standards
Repairs You Would Be Expected to Know & Do With Minimal Intervention*:
- PA State Inspection
- Emissions
- Oil Changes
- Mileage based fluids / Maintenance (oil changes, fluid exchanges, combustion cleaning services)
- Brakes
- Suspension / Steering Components
- Belts / Hoses / Filters Replacements
- And More
* Training from our team will be available for heavier/more complicated jobs as needed.
