Your responsibilities would include:
- Assist patients with selecting and fitting eyeglasses based on their needs and preferences.
- Interpret and verify optical prescriptions
- Perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear as needed.
- Educate patients on eyewear care and lens options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical technology and trends.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns professionally.
- Manage inventory and place orders for eyewear and optical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Billing vision plans for exams and glasses
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of optical principles, lens types, and frame styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in optical equipment, EHR software, and online ordering platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work 4-5 days per week based on your needs, Tuesday to Friday required. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
