Compensation
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of employee benefits programs including medical, dental, FSA, HSA, life insurance, disability, and other insurance programs, including EAP.
- Investigate and respond to employee questions regarding benefits eligibility and administration.
- Meet with newly-eligible employees to provide thorough information on all benefit options and assist them in enrollment, including presenting benefits at New Hire Orientation.
- Oversee leaves administration including, but not limited to, FMLA, PFL, Disability, and Worker’s Compensation.
- Assist in the design and implementation of the annual Open Enrollment process.
- Engage employees and supervisors in the interactive process in response to requests for reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Design and manage employee wellness programs to best meet the needs and interests of employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all benefits vendors to ensure high levels of support and service.
- Reconcile invoices from applicable vendors as needed to ensure proper payment.
- Prepare ongoing communication regarding employee benefits.
- Handle benefits reporting and audits as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, including but not limited to HIPAA, FMLA, PFL, ERISA, COBRA, ACA, etc.
- Self-starter, detail oriented and customer focused with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with payroll and HRIS systems, prior experience with Paylocity preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation with the ability to think innovatively
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Benefits or Leaves Administration.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
