We are looking for a Social Media and Marketing Specialist who will take full ownership of our social media presence and support our growing brands, New U Women’s Clinic and Aesthetics and La Canneberge, through creative content, strategic planning, and consistent engagement.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in medical or aesthetic marketing, understands how to create content that resonates with patients, and can manage both day-to-day social media activity and broader marketing initiatives. This person should be skilled with creative tools, knowledgeable about social trends, comfortable using AI for content development, and confident leading projects that contribute to brand growth.
Objectives of this role
- Develop and manage social media strategies for both brands that support awareness, engagement, and growth.
- Create and schedule high quality content including graphics, photos, videos, and educational posts that align with brand standards.
- Use patient insights, trend research, and performance analytics to strengthen content and enhance visibility across platforms.
- Support broader marketing initiatives by assisting with campaigns, email content, digital advertising, and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate across clinic teams to gather information, plan content, and maintain consistent brand messaging.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish daily content across social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Design graphics and marketing materials that support promotions, events, announcements, and patient education.
- Capture and edit photo and video content for social media, website, and advertising use.
- Monitor engagement, respond to messages and comments, and support a positive online community presence.
- Track and report social performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Assist with website updates, email campaigns, Google Business Profiles, and outreach initiatives.
- Support the planning and promotion of events and brand activities.
- Provide leadership in creative direction and guide team members when needed.
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience managing social media for a business or brand.
- Medical or aesthetic marketing experience required.
- Graphic design skills with proficiency in Canva or Adobe tools.
- Must have a strong understanding of AI for content development and workflow support.
- Strong marketing skills including content planning, branding, and digital communication.
- Strong communication abilities and confidence leading creative projects.
- Organized, self-directed, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, med spa, aesthetics, or wellness marketing.
- Franchise marketing experience preferred.
- Experience with SEO, CRM systems, and digital advertising platforms.
- Ability to travel for events or brand initiatives if needed.
