Client Accounting Associate

What you’ll do:

• Play a central role on the client accounting team by performing intermediate- to experienced-level accounting functions.
• Follow general accounting rules, principles, and procedures in day-to-day work.
• Identify client needs and pain points and use accounting knowledge to uncover potential issues.
• Gather information needed to clean up client books, including reconciliations, closings, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial statements.
• Work closely with clients to resolve issues and maintain accurate books on an ongoing basis.
• Build trust and foster strong client partnerships through consistent support and communication.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience: 3 years in a bookkeeping or accounting position, preferably in public accounting
• Skills: Strong proficiency QuickBooks (ProAdvisor required to be up to date each year) as well as experience with tax software a plus; Microsoft Office Suite, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity or experience handling payroll.
• Client Interaction: Ability to work well and build strong trusted relationships with clients.
