Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server/Server to join our dynamic diner team. Prior experience in diners and american resturants is prefered.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and responding promptly to requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues efficiently
Skills
- Experience with working in diners and American restaurants.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting including night shifts or weekends if required
- Strong communication skills for guest relations and team collaboration
