What You'll Do (AKA Your Superpowers):
- Be the communication hub , scheduling trips by phone and computer requests, making friendly calls to clients and answering questions with a smile.
- Be the brain behind the wheels , coordinating drivers, routes, and schedules that keep our buses rolling smoothly.
- Use your tech-savvy skills to manage calendars, track trips, and keep our systems updated like a pro.
- Support our superheroes on the road (aka our Operators) with real-time dispatching help.
- Be a superhero by being on the road as one of our operators as part of your regular schedule.
Pay Range: $18.75 - $21.56 - Depending on Experience
Education:
- Qualified applicants will have any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School Diploma, and considerable experience in transit dispatching and/or vehicle operations.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge in standard office products with very effective organization and document design skills. Possession of a valid Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record is required. Additional compensation will be considered for those with a Virginia Commercial Driver License (Minimum Class C with Passenger Endorsement).
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely move and lift 50 lbs. and to push/pull 100 lbs.Successful candidates must comply with all Drug and Alcohol Testing guidelines. As a drug/alcohol free workplace, pre-employment screenings administered. (FMCSA/DOT if CDL holder).
Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
