Skid Builder

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused team member to join our production team as a Skid Builder/ Production Packager (1st Shift). This role is responsible for assisting in building of skids and packaging of materials.

Schedule:

• Summer Schedule: Tuesday- Friday, 4am - 2pm
• Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6am - 2pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and JIB crane
• Operate table saw to cut lumber to size for custom skids
• Use nail gun, hammer, and other tools to assemble skids
• Package finished product efficiently and securely
• Inspect materials during handling to identify and report any defects
• Follow all safety protocols and stop work if unsafe conditions arise
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines
• Assist with training new employees as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Forklift experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Dependable with a strong attendance record
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to safely operate industrial equipment
