Activities Manager
New Philadelphia City Schools is seeking an Activities Manager for the 2025-2026 school year to assist with Fall and Winter athletic events.
This individual will be responsible to assist with the supervision of athletic events, both home and away, in addition to other duties as assigned. Additional details are listed below. This individual will reports to both the High School Athletic Director and Principal.
The total salary for this position will be $10,000. The position could potentially be split into two or three positions, with the total salary divided accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
Coaching/sports background preferred.
Maintain Valid Ohio Pupil Activity Permit.

Essential Functions
Supervises contests both home and away for high school athletics.
Takes precautions to ensure safety. Monitors situations that may indicate a problem. Works with staff to manage or eliminate risk factors.
Upholds board policies and follows OHSAA/Ohio Cardinal Conference administrative guidelines/procedures relating to inappropriate spectator behavior and ejections.
Works with ticket takers, police security, concession stand workers, and booster clubs in a professional manner.
Takes precautions to ensure safety. Monitors situations that may indicate a problem. Works with staff to manage or eliminate risk factors.
Upholds board policies and follows OHSAA/Ohio Cardinal Conference administrative guidelines/procedures relating to inappropriate spectator behavior and ejections.
Works with ticket takers, police security, concession stand workers, and booster clubs in a professional manner.
Assists with special events as needed.
(OHSAA Tournament Events, Ohio Cardinal Conference Tournament Events, Homecoming Nights, Senior Nights, Teacher Appreciation Nights, Hall Of Fame Nights, etc.)
Assists with media for athletic contests as needed.
Assists with season ticket nights and Xover week as needed.
Respects personal privacy. Maintains the confidentiality of privileged information.
Reports suspected child abuse and/or neglect to civil authorities as required by law.
Strives to develop rapport and serves as a positive role model for others.
Performs other specific job-related duties as directed.
