As a Behavior Technician with our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and collaborative in-home and community-based ABA therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. Our mission at New Patterns ABA - CT is to foster growth and independence by listening to every voice and working together to discover each individual's potential.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct ABA therapy sessions in home and community settings, incorporating evidence-based interventions and procedures to promote skill acquisition and adaptation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and other multidisciplinary team members
• Collect and record data to measure treatment effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
• Maintain accurate and detailed session notes, reports, and treatment records
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share knowledge, and receive support
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, or speech-language pathology) preferred
• 0 years of experience, with a willingness to learn and grow with our organization
• Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must be comfortable with frequent travel to clients' homes and community settings
