New Path Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent / Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects in multiple markets. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with the ability to manage projects from preconstruction through completion while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, scheduling, and site coordination. Candidates should be willing to travel as needed based on project location and company needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Experience managing retail, car wash, multi-family, and/or self-storage projects preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- OSHA certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day on-site construction operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and field activities
- Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and maintain compliance with all regulations
- Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed to project specifications
- Work closely with project managers, clients, architects, and ownership teams
- Lead jobsite meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Identify and resolve field issues efficiently to maintain project momentum
