New Path Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects in multiple markets. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with the ability to manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining the highest standards of communication, budgeting, scheduling, quality, and client coordination. Candidates local to the Chicago or Texas markets are preferred; however, travel will be required for this position.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Experience managing multi-family, retail, car wash, and/or gas station projects preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and construction coordination
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships
- Proficiency with construction management software and project reporting tools preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project coordination
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and project execution
- Coordinate closely with superintendents, clients, architects, engineers, and ownership teams
- Monitor project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and overall project documentation
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and proactively resolve project challenges to maintain progress and client satisfaction
