New Mexico Piñon Coffee is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals interested in future Production I opportunities. This position supports the safe and efficient production of quality coffee while following company procedures, food-safety requirements, and our Core Values.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate basic automatic and semi-automatic production equipment.
• Process, label, seal, package, and carton coffee products.
• Follow production orders, Standard Operating Procedures, and job aids.
• Complete production paperwork accurately using Good Documentation Practices.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and all applicable food-safety guidelines.
• Inspect products throughout the production process to identify quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and dust-free work area.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment.
• Follow safe material-handling procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and minimize waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment

This position works primarily indoors in a non-climate-controlled food-production and warehouse environment. Employees may experience heat, cold, dust, noise, vibration, moving mechanical equipment, and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fire-related hazards.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active position requiring:

• Standing and walking throughout the entire shift.
• Repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Lifting and moving items weighing up to 30 pounds.

Safety and Compliance

Employees must follow all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and standards of conduct. This includes applicable food-safety standards and requirements related to OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act. Employees are also expected to protect confidential company and employee information.
