Instructor of Education, Teacher Education – Field Office requires a Term Instructor to teach coursework and assist student teachers in completing their program-end portfolio project.
Specific teaching responsibilities will be commensurate with candidate’s qualifications, but may focus on the individual’s specialization area(s). The successful candidate may teach day, evening, weekend and online courses.
Selected candidate will be expected to participate in department committees; develop and maintain collaborative and professional partnerships with local schools and districts; and, hold office hours as required.
Salary commensurate to full-time prorated from start date to end of December, 2025.

The person selected for this position will teach Teacher Education courses particularly in field-based courses and knowledge of the profession (undergraduate), and support and advise student teachers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree.
- Experience in post-secondary teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students.
- Demonstrated successful experience forming partnerships with schools/districts.
- Proficiency teaching and communicating with colleagues and students via electronic and digital modalities.
- Proficiency in the integration of technology to support teaching and learning.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems.
- Proficiency with student advisement/information systems (e.g. Degree Audit and Banner)
