The New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute provides care to New Mexicans across six different divisions including hospital level inpatient psychiatric care for both civil and forensic commitments, residential treatment for adolescents, outpatient care for people with behavioral health disorders, detox and residential substance use treatment, and skilled/long-term care. As the largest behavioral health complex in the state, inpatient/residential care is provided to over 250 New Mexicans every day, along with 400 outpatient clients a month. There are over 600 employees across all the divisions of NMBHI to ensure high-quality treatment and care is delivered.

The food service stock clerk position exists to ensure safe, accurate and efficient management of food supply.
How does it get done?
Receive, inspect, and store food supply
Maintain accurate inventory with support of supervisors
Organize storage areas (dry, refrigerated, frozen)
Follow food safety, hygiene, and regulatory guidelines
Who are the customers?
NMBHI, staff, patients' residents and clients
Ideal Candidate
Highly organized with understanding of food safety and inventory practices
Minimum Qualification
No Prior Experience Or Training Required.
Employment Requirements
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate
Working Conditions
Work is performed indoors in the kitchen, storage rooms and loading areas. Regular exposure to varying temperatures including refrigerated and freezer areas.
