What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and cook bar menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of orders during high-volume service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation at the bar food station
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control
- Assist with daily prep work, including cutting, portioning, and organizing ingredients
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist with inventory control and notify management of any shortages or waste
- Adhere to all company policies, health regulations, and safety standards
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; Culinary Arts degree or related field preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or food preparation environment
- Basic knife skills and working knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Ability to operate the following kitchen equipment in a safe and proper manner: stoves, grills, fryers, and other utensils
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers
- Ability to follow instructions carefully, with a strong emphasis on safety
- Capacity to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Flexibility to shift priorities and adapt to changing kitchen demands
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and safely operate kitchen equipment
