Job Overview:
The Salon Front Desk Coordinator plays a critical role in our daily operations by overseeing the reception area, managing scheduling and appointments, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position is responsible for leading front desk staff, maintaining a positive client experience, and supporting the salon team in administrative and organizational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism upon arrival
- Manage appointment scheduling via salon booking software
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries
- Upsell current clients and drive salon sales
- Follow-up with clients after services have been completed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage the cash register
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate to management when needed
- Monitor inventory levels for retail and office supplies
- Coordinate with stylists and technicians to optimize scheduling
- Support promotional events and marketing initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in customer service or salon/spa front desk
- Leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with salon management software (Meevo a Plus)
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
