We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions while ensuring a positive experience for patients. Your expertise in general dentistry, along with specialized skills in prosthodontics and patient assessment, will be essential in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and prosthodontics.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software Softdent.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and treatment methodologies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and ability to pass all required background checks.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices and familiarity with dental terminology.
- Experience with prosthodontics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and its application in dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Looking for a dentist willing to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8am-5pm.
