Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
- Take digital X-rays and update patient records
- Maintain infection control and OSHA standards
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and supported during their visit
- Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Assist the front desk team when needed, including scheduling, checking patients in/out, and general administrative support
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to be cross-trained to support administrative duties when needed
- Friendly, professional demeanor with patients and team members
