Van Driver
New Horizons is looking for a Van Driver to transport persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities using agency owned vehicles. The Van Driver is responsible for the safe transport of individuals from their home to facility-based services and back. The Van Driver will assist passengers as needed in the boarding and disembarking of the vehicle.
A Van Driver will complete a visual pre-trip and post-trip inspection to ensure the proper and safe functioning of the vehicle. The Van Driver is responsible for the cleanliness and general maintenance oversight of the vehicle assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Twenty-One (21) Years of Age or older
- Valid Driver’s License and 5 years driving experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification
Additional Information
- Drug Test required
- Background report and driving record required
- TB test required
- Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, push, pull, and lift
Hours
Typical Hours: 6 am – 8 am AND 3 pm – 5 pm
