New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie counties. In addition, New Horizons supports 22,000 students in local schools, and we collaborate closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to enhance the health of individuals and improve the quality of life in our community.
General Summary
Plans, organizes, and directs the work processes and support staff of the Outpatient component to ensure efficient support of patient care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree in Human Services or Business. A diploma, a certificate from a business school, or 5 years of relevant experience will be considered. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience is required. Progressively responsible experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree and supervisory requirement. Data processing skills needed. Knowledge of billing and collection processes. Ability to communicate effectively with various disciplines of the agency.

- Provides administrative direction, leadership, and supervision of support staff.
- Conducts Employee Performance Management Activities.
- Oversees all activities for the day-to-day operations of the office support functions
- Prepares a wide variety of administrative reports and performs special projects as requested
- Ensures and maintains data integrity.
- Oversees all scheduling reconciliation and works on client demographics
- Provides and performs back up in all support staff areas (i.e. intake, insurance etc.) as time permits
