What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Dispatcher position at New Horizons Behavioral Health?
Program Name: Transportation
Works with the following population: Individuals with a mental health diagnosis, developmental disabilities, and/or addictive diseases
Days & Time: This position will work 40 hours a week. Most programs work Monday through Friday. The workday includes a 1-hour lunch break.
Pay: $38,000 per year
Job Responsibilities:
Under general to limited supervision, the candidate will:
- Plan and coordinate the movement of vehicles, drivers, and clients.
- Answer phone calls from clients, in addition to New Horizons departments.
- Serve as a replacement/fill-in if needed.
- Other job duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
The candidate MUST have a high school diploma/GED. The candidate MUST have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR, as this position is required to transport individuals. Also, the candidate is asked to have at least two (2) years of dispatching experience.
