Position Title: System of Care Coordinator/Generation Next Director
Program Name: Generation Next
Works with the following population: Male and female youth and young adults w/ mental illness.
Days & Time: This position will work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Pay: $48,000 per year. Negotiable depending on licensure.
Job Responsibilities
The System of Care Coordinator/Generation Next Program Director provides community-based services and supports for children and young adults with (or at risk of) mental health challenges. The System of Care Coordinator works closely with other programs to ensure families are supported and that youth needs are met through grant resources and deliverables.
In addition, responsibilities and expectations are:
- Managing daily operations of the program
- Work in a Chattahoochee County school 1-2 days a week
- Intakes and assessments
- Therapy and groups
- Linkage to resources
- Monthly reports
- Clinical documentation
- Liaison to community partners, serving on boards as needed
- Attend resource fairs.
- Flexibility and must believe in teamwork.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a Master's degree in social work or counseling. Must be professional license-eligible or professionally licensed as one of the following: LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, or LMFT. Must have prior experience working with youth and adults in a mental health setting and/or school. Must have at least two (2) years of supervisory experience or equivalent. Must have strong clinical, communication, and written skills. Experience in crisis management and assessment. Applicant must have an insured vehicle available for work; as well as a clean Motor Vehicle Report, as this position requires transporting.
