What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Client Support Worker (Red Hill) position at New Horizons Behavioral Health?
Program Name: Red Hill Group Home
Works with the following population: Male and female individuals with a mental health diagnosis.
Days & Time: This position will work up to twenty-nine (29) hours a week. Holidays and weekends are included. The program stays open 24/7, and there are three (3) shifts available (8am-4pm / 4pm-12am / 12am-8am), and the candidate must be available to work all shifts.
Pay: $15.90 per hour
Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, the candidate will:
- Care for residents with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) in a group home environment
- Teach daily living skills, while ensuring meals are prepared.
- Regulate, document, and report resident behavior/progress on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment.
- Ensure medication compliance with individuals.
- Assist with bathing and ambulation, if needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma / GED. Experience in working with individuals with mental disabilities and/or addictive diseases. Must have an insured vehicle available for work, as well as a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
