Provide support to the company workforce and ensure our good company culture is continually supported.

- Manage the development and implementation of HR plans and procedures for company personnel.
- Maintain company calendar by coordinating company appointments, employee work schedule and other internal/external events such as meetings, conferences, and company travel arrangements.
- Administer employee benefits program and analyze, suggest and implement improvements.
- Maintain various employee documentation and medical records and Health Insurance.
- Maintain various documentation such as: employee handbook, job descriptions and job applications.
- Execute hiring and termination events and keep turnover rate at or below proportion to industry.
- Screen, interview and recruit new employees for entry level, professional and technical job openings.
- Lead by example and teach employees to take pride in our honorable and positive company culture.
- Manage any outsourced or other 3rd party HR support services.
- Maintain the overall company training system and counsel employees when necessary.
- Consult the company concerning Employment Regulations.
- Respond to employee related issues: complaints, concerns and harassment or similar allegations.
- Coordinate with Controller to ensure timely/accurate payroll, time worked, post wages/deductions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in an office environment.
- Ability to perform problem solving and use deductive reasoning.
- Ability to coordinate between many different people, companies and timing schedules.
- Maintain integrity of highly sensitive/confidential information.
- Perform tasks that will result in contact with some food allergens. (Company will advise)
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education.
- Demonstrate commitment to company values, policies and procedures.
- Ability to stand and maneuver for long periods of time.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift objects of up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work well with colleagues & customers in a professional & organized manner.

Desired skills
- 5 years of similar position experience.
- Proficiency in basic use of computers and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Database management experience / ability to learn company software and database quickly.
