Loan Administrator

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Administrator to join our organization in support of our Commercial Lending Team. In this role, you will work cross-functionally assisting the team from initial customer contact through the closing, funding and booking of commercial loan transactions. Candidates must be familiar with commercial loan documentation and lending processes/procedures typical for the industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and ordering appraisal reports for real estate transactions;
• Retrieving/generating credit, flood certification and environmental reports; disseminating reports to team members and maintaining files and logs of the same;
• Contacting bank customers to assist underwriting, customer file maintenance and loan review efforts;
• Coordinating receipt of loan closing documentation with outside law firms wile assisting team with loan closing activities;
• Preparing new loan data input forms for processing, including post-closing/loan booking review and quality control;
• Preparing loan committee materials, attending loan committee meetings and completing minutes of committee meetings;
• Assisting the team with third-party audit/information requests pertaining to lending activities;
• Performing other duties and special projects in support of lending function as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple files while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook for internal communication and documentation purposes
• Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum 5 years related experience
