The State of New Hampshire, Liquor Commission has a full-time vacancy for Liquor Examiner II.
Summary
To process license requests and verify licensee and permittee is in compliance of NH Liquor Commission Laws and Rules for licensee financial records, permits, and the sale, manufacturing, and storage of alcoholic beverages while following all NH Liquor Commission rules and policies.

Explains NHLC Title XIII Laws and Administrative Rules to the public.
Conduct audit and examine books, invoices documents and other financial records relating to the purchase, sale and manufacture of liquor, wine and beverages, and cigar related products by permittees and licensees to determine compliance with liquor laws and administrative rule.
Considers new beverage products by gathering information pertaining to federal label approvals, distribution and territorial agreements between supplier and wholesaler, alcoholic analysis, and container size for recommendation on product approval/disapproval or to place on Commission Agenda as permitted by the Title XIII rules.
Makes detailed transcript record of purchase by retailer permittees and licensees recording information to be used at audit of wholesaler receivables. Discusses findings with permittees/licensees or their representative. Review record keeping requirements.
Using transcript record of purchase made by the retailer permittees and licensees, audit wholesaler receivables to determine compliance with the reporting requirements of chapter 179:13 of NH Law Research with wholesaler personnel at the time of the audit detected infractions or violations. Attempt to resolve and correct so as to prevent recurrence. Discuss audit findings with management.
Prepares reports and conducts investigations concerning the operations of manufacturers, wholesalers and other licensees, including developing recommendations for corrective action as necessary.
Schedule and perform certification of Restaurant Food Sale Audits to determine if ratio of food sales to sales of beer and liquor are within the parameters of liquor laws and administrative rule.
Assists management in the development of Administrative Rules.
