We’re hiring a full-time Rental Assistance Manager for our Assisted Housing Division.
Role
As a Rental Assistance Manager, you’ll be a key contributor to programs that advance our mission and strengthen housing stability across New Hampshire. In this role, you will:
- Guide and support program participants by determining eligibility in accordance with HUD regulations and the NH Housing Administrative Plan.
- Administer critical housing resources, managing and allocating approximately $5 million annually in Housing Assistance Payments (HAP).
- Administer and oversee multiple rental assistance programs, including Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Moderate Rehabilitation, Project-Based Voucher (PBV), Mainstream, Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH), Homeownership, Family Unification Program (FUP), Foster Youth to Independence (FYI), and other special-purpose vouchers, ensuring compliance while delivering high-quality service.
Your Experience, Skills, And Education Should Include
- Demonstrate a service-oriented mindset with all internal and external contacts.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products at an intermediate level.
- Ability to prioritize work and adjust priorities as needed.
- Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
- Proficiency in speaking an additional language is beneficial.
- Experience with Yardi Software is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
