We’re hiring a full-time Asset Manager for our Multifamily Housing Division.
As an Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in performing oversight over affordable housing properties that contribute to our mission. In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) and Compliance Monitoring Reviews, ensuring properties meet all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as governing documents.
- Monitor and evaluate financial compliance, risk, and exposure, identifying trends and providing thoughtful recommendations.
- Serve as a trusted primary point of contact for property owners and management agents, supporting effective program implementation, ongoing compliance, and successful operations across multifamily programs.
To support onboarding and training, the initial six months of employment will be conducted in-office. Following this period, remote work may be available on an intermittent basis, as determined by the manager.
Your experience, skills, and education should include:
- Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally (both verbally and written).
- Solid knowledge of federal and state affordable housing legislation, regulations, and guidance.
- Ability to prioritize work and adjust priorities as needed.
- Strong ability to think analytically and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products at an intermediate level.
- Basic skills in math and accounting.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least seven years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
