SUN Meals Program Associate - Keene

Description

The SUN Meals Program Associate is responsible for packing and distributing nutritious summer meal kits to eligible children, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role requires following state and local food safety protocols and working closely with supervisors to ensure the success of the program.

Positions Details;

· Dates will vary, but will be generally week of June 1 through week of August 17

· Hours will generally be 8 to 25 hours per week on weekdays and generally daytime hours

Essential Functions:

· Pack grocery bags with food items that meet USDA guidelines

· Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas

· Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

· Assist with food storage and inventory management

· Record food temperatures and maintain accurate records

· Help move grocery bags from the kitchen to the pick-up area

· Report equipment issues and low supplies to supervisors

Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

· Experience in food services (preferred)

· ServSafe training provided
