Catholic Charities New Hampshire is looking for a full-time (30 hours/week) Community Services Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals in our Northern Regional Service location in Berlin, NH. Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for individuals seeking assistance, helping them identify needs and understand available options.
- Connect clients with appropriate internal services and community resources such as food assistance, public benefits, counseling, or other support programs.
- Conduct client intakes and assessments to understand each individual’s situation and develop action plans that support their goals.
- Support clients in building essential life skills, such as budgeting and financial management.
- Follow up with clients to monitor progress, provide guidance, and adjust plans as needed.
- Respond to incoming calls, online inquiries, and referrals from internal staff and community partners.
- Determine eligibility for financial assistance programs and distribute funds in accordance with agency policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and services provided in the agency’s database.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.
- Assist with the development and facilitation of online support groups and community outreach activities as needed.
- Represent Catholic Charities NH professionally and compassionately when working with clients, partners, and the community.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with experience in social services setting
- Basic bookkeeping skills and intermediate level skills in MS Office software programs: Word, Excel, outlook email
- Computer aptitude and ability to work with database software programs to record client interactions with ease
- General understanding of social services practices & resources
