Position Overview
We're seeking reliable and professional Venue Valet Attendants to join our growing team. You'll be the first and last impression guests have at our upscale venues. This role requires excellent customer service skills, safe driving abilities, and the flexibility to work afternoons and weekends. The position starts at $15.49/hr with expected cash tips providing an expected takehome of up to $25/hour
Availability Requirements:
Thursdays/Fridays: 4pm - 11:30pm
Saturday/Sunday: 9am - 4pm shift; 4pm - 11:30pm shift (shift times may vary; all day availability preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles at upscale venues in Monmouth/Ocean County NJ (assigned based on location)
- Greet guests with professionalism, courtesy, and a welcoming demeanor
- Manage vehicle keys using our organized key-tracking system
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient traffic flow
- Assist with coat check, traffic control, and other hospitality services as needed
- Set up and maintain professional signage, cones, and event equipment
- Handle guest inquiries and provide concierge-level service
- Document any vehicle concerns or incidents immediately and accurately
- Maintain uniform standards and represent the New Frontier Valet brand with excellence: We maintain a high level of service industry professionalism; All employees are required to have a black polo shirt, black slacks, black belt, black socks and black sneakers.
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for this position. Please do not apply if you do not meet all the following criteria:
- 1-3 years of professional or customer service industry experience
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate vehicles of varying size and make/models
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Possess reliable transportation to venue location
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with high-end or luxury vehicles
- Experience and proficiency with manual transmission vehicles
- Previous experience at weddings, corporate events, upscale venues, etc
- Knowledge of various vehicle makes/models
- Bilingual skills (English Spanish, or other languages)
