Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform repairs on programmable logic controllers and other electrical systems as needed.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively and implement solutions.
- Execute welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications.
- Assist in residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Supervise junior staff or contractors during maintenance projects to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety within the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, welding techniques, and ohmmeter usage.
- Strong understanding of schematics and ability to read technical drawings.
- Prior experience in supervising teams or projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
