What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler Production position at New Flyer?
Essential Duties:
* Work effectively in a team environment
* Must be able to perform all work allocated
* Must be able to work from blueprints, process sheets and/or instructions.
* Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills.
* Must be able to work with minimum supervision
* Experience with general assembly
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Computer and organizational skills
* Goal orientated and motivation to achieve tasks within set timelines
* Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset.
* Time management and thoroughness
