Role Description
This full-time, on-site Social Worker role is located in Newark, NJ. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing case management, counseling, and group therapy to individuals, addressing their mental health and/or co-occurring needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, documenting client progress, and collaborating with other team members to ensure comprehensive care. The role also entails helping clients build coping skills and assisting them with accessing community resources.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in mental health services, including counseling, crisis intervention, and co-occurring disorders.
- Strong skills in case management, client advocacy, and facilitating group therapy sessions.
- Proficiency in creating and updating personalized treatment plans.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and documentation.
