What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer position at New England Soundproofing?
New England Soundproofing is looking for an on-site installer with previous experience in the construction or carpentry fields. This full time position is based out of Easton MA 02375, and you will be traveling in a work van to various locations throughout Massachusetts. Projects range from 1 day to multiple weeks. Weekday work Monday - Friday will be the norm, but some nights and early mornings will be needed.
We work in high end homes and commercial spaces and employees must represent the company in a positive, respectful manner. As such our employees must be personable, neat, respectable, and communicate well.
Carpentry skills are a plus, but some skills in the following categories are a must:
- Reading a tape measure
- Using a screw gun and drill
- Safe operation of skill saw, demo tools, and chop saw
- Experience using a nail gun and framing gun
- Knowledge of simple math
Compensation depends on skill level.
**MUST be able to pass a CORI check to work on school and federal jobs.
**MUST have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
