Summer Camp Nurse (June–August)
Location: Kurn Hattin Home and School for Children – Westminster, VT
Kurn Hattin Home and School for Children is seeking a compassionate and reliable Summer Camp Nurse to join our team for the 2026 summer season. This seasonal position runs from
the middle of June through the middle of August, with weekday hours from 2:00 PM to
8:00 PM. The nurse will oversee daily health services including administering
medications, providing basic first aid, maintaining accurate medical records, and
supporting the overall health and safety of our campers. Ideal candidates will be a RN
or LPN with a VT or compact license, current CPR/First Aid certification and experience
working with children in a camp, school, or healthcare setting. This role requires strong
communication and organizational skills, as well as a calm, team-oriented approach.
Competitive hourly wage offered, and on-site housing may be available.
Although this is a seasonal position, a successful candidate may be considered for a full time or per diem position on our year round health services team.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-8pm from June-August
Pay: $32-39 per hour, dependent on experience
