Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive volunteer recruitment strategies utilizing social media management and campus recruitment techniques to attract diverse talent.
- Manage the entire volunteer lifecycle, including onboarding, training & development, supervision, and recognition programs.
- Coordinate volunteer schedules, assignments, and activities to align with organizational goals while ensuring optimal engagement.
- Oversee volunteer management systems to track participation, hours, and impact metrics accurately.
- Provide public speaking engagements and presentations to promote volunteer opportunities within the community and at events.
- Supervise volunteer teams, offering guidance, support, and leadership to foster a motivated and cohesive environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising or managing volunteers within community service settings.
- Demonstrated success in volunteer management, community outreach, or hospice preferred
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate diverse audiences.
- Experience in training & development programs tailored for volunteers or staff members.
- Leadership qualities with a track record of supervising teams effectively while fostering a positive environment.
