You will be actively involved in various phases of construction, including estimating, hands on carpentry and project management to ensure we deliver exceptional results. Duties
- Assist in the estimation of both commercial and residential projects.
- Assist in the planning and execution of commercial and residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and project timelines.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently across different site conditions.
- Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control, safety compliance, and progress tracking throughout each phase of the project.
- Perform various tasks such as framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, roofing, masonry work, concrete finishing, stucco application, vinyl flooring, and tile.
- Support installation of fixtures including cabinetry, glass panels, doors, flooring, and hardware components like caulking and plastering.
- Engage in demolition or restoration work as needed to prepare sites or refurbish existing structures.
- Assist with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for precise fabrication and installation processes.
Skills
- Experience framing both wood and metal studs.
- Experience with drywall installation and tape and mud.
- Experience painting interior and exterior.
- Experience installing siding (vinyl, cedar).
- Experience installing vinyl flooring (LVT, VCT).
- Experience installing tile floors and walls.
- Experience with deck installation.
- Experience with some masonry.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients alike.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
