New England College is looking for Graduate Assistants for 2026-27 in the areas of Game Operations, Strength & Conditioning, Athletics Communications, Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Softball, and more. Responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach or Director in all facets. Assignments can include sport-specific roles and responsibilities and other duties as assigned by the department. The Graduate Assistant Position includes a full graduate school tuition waiver, free on-campus housing, and a school meal plan. There is a student services fee the student is responsible for each 7-week class.
Essential Duties Summary
- Direct Report and Primary Responsibilities – Assist supervisor or head coach positively in all areas related to the sport or specific role.
- Community Service – Be a leader in maintaining and developing a considerable presence in the community by our team members in athletically related events and duties.
- Teamwork – There is an expectation that the candidate will be willing to work with other department staff on various large or small assignments.
- Other Duties – There will be other duties assigned from the athletics department that might include, but are not limited to, games management and facility management.
Required Qualifications
Candidate review begins immediately and continues until position is filled. Candidate must be accepted into the NEC Graduate Program.
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate playing or coaching experience preferred or related athletics experience.
