EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline – Quality / Industrial / Aerospace

TRAINING

• Annual Safety Training

• Relevant Job Specific Skill Training
• Training as mandated by State of Connecticut
• Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Internal Audit processes
• Compliance and ethical conduct
• Management of external certifications required for Quality Team roles, ensuring they remain current

• 5 years’ experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing or regulated industrial environment (aerospace) managing multidisciplinary quality teams ; conducting internal audits and corrective actions based on customer and industry quality compliance

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure effective controls to prevent non-conforming product release
• Drive continuous improvement in quality performance and efficiency
• Set objectives, monitor performance, and develop Quality Team capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of AS9100 / AS13100, and FAA/EASA regulatory requirements
• Support development of method of inspection for NPI
• Monitor process quality and guide quality improvement initiatives for production processes
• Coach / guide / mentor Quality Team
• Support continuously improvement of the Quality Management System 
• Support internal audits and corrective actions
• Support New Product / New Part Introduction (NPI) activities
• Demonstrated Ability to lead Root Cause investigations and implement robust corrective actions. Proficient in using tools like Fault Trees, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to identify and resolve quality issues
• Knowledge of statistical process control tool and how to drive improvement
• Manage Quality budget and provide regular KPI-based reporting
• Act as the quality interface with senior management, customers, and stakeholders
• Escalate quality, compliance, or reputational risks when required
• Ensure Business compliance with all applicable customer and industry quality standards
