Job Description:
NDTI is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team! We are seeking an experienced technical recruiter to support in-house recruiting efforts for a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor environment. This role requires strong technical recruiting skills and the ability to source and engage highly specialized talent.
• Working with hiring managers on developing job requisitions (tasking and experience requirements, skillsets, etc.).
• Reviewing and comparing resumes and applicants against job requisitions.
• Regular and consistent communication and follow-up with hiring managers regarding applicants.
• Scheduling, conducting and/or participating in interviews (initial pre-screens and more detailed technical) both independently and with hiring managers and technical experts.
•Clear and comprehensive documentation of the results of the interviews to communicate with other stakeholders (hiring managers, recruiting, human resources).
• Real-time system updates and metrics capture of notes and status.
• Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire types of metrics).
• Create a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback.
• Understanding of technical terminology and concepts to screen engineering and IT talent effectively.
• Manage high volume of job requisitions, applicants/applications simultaneously.
• Update postings as needed.
• Develop and manage a talent pipeline.
• Periodically review and update processes and procedures.
• Attend job fairs and promotional events to promote both the company and specific jobs.
Experience/Education:

- High School Diploma (minimum) plus 2 years relevant recruiting experience.
- Desired but not required: Technical certifications or coursework (e.g. IT fundamentals) to aid in understanding candidate backgrounds.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and team-based projects.
- A clear understanding of the full recruitment life cycle.
- Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- In-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
- Strong organizational skills to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and job boards, such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
