Description:
- Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use in the RDT&E environment.
- Assist ESSM Reliability personnel to assess and predict ESSM Reliability and ensure production, flight and recertification failures are root caused to improve reliability, availability, and maintainability and that improvement opportunities are made available for implementation in production and, fielded hardware and test equipment.
- Assist Reliability personal in Ad hoc reliability tasks (data pulls, data verification, reliability system engineering analysis, statistical analysis, and write-ups)
- Work within, and contribute to, the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
- Occasional travel required in support of this effort.
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- 5 years experience and a MA/MS degree OR 8 Years experience and BA/BS degree
- RF experience
- A senior labor category typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
- A senior labor category may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
- Degree major must be in the following subjects: aerospace, aeronautical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, electronics, environmental, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear engineering.
- Must have experience that is applicable to U.S. Military or U.S. Government applications within one or more of the following areas: System Engineering, Test Engineering, Transition Engineering, Management Analysis, Training Services.
Salary: the expected pay range for this position is $128,960 to $156,000 but is subject to change.
