Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Manage stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to ensure product availability
- Complete inventory reorders.
- Pick up inventory from merchandiser.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Drivers License
- Reliable Transportation
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for engaging a diverse customer base
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to supervise or assist in supervising team members is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, proactive approach
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and grocery store operations is beneficial
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
