New Day Car Wash is hiring a Brand and Operations Director to help scale the New Day brand from single to double digit locations. We’re seeking a motivated, optimistic, and highly accountable leader who is a confident self-starter. This individual should be an exceptional communicator and eager to freely lead while remaining accountable to themselves and their team. The Brand and Operations Director responsibilities include training and developing talent, upholding the SOPs and brand standards of New Day, improving processes and procedures, and growing New Day’s profitability. Reporting to the ownership group’s Director of Business Operations, the Brand and Operations Director position is located in Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities
· Maintain culture by supporting, reinforcing, and aligning decisions with New Day’s mantra and core values.
· Provide strategic direction and oversight for teams and managers.
· Develop specific strategies to constantly improve profitability and achieve profit goals for all locations.
· Ensure that New Day standards for all personnel are upheld. This position is directly responsible for hiring all management positions and overseeing the hiring and training processes for other team members.
· Assess performance and skill of all employees and conduct performance reviews for site, area, and district managers.
· Review monthly budgets and financial statements with ownership and management to ensure budgets and KPI’s are being met.
· Provide valuable insight in the site selection and site layout process for new developments.
· Provide strategic and direct support for advertising, promotion, and retention programs.
· Provide strategic, hands-on oversight during equipment procurement, installation, staffing, and grand openings for new locations.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Minimum of 5 years in the industry and 2 years of car wash multi-unit management with a record of success in increasing revenue and site volume.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and empower New Day managers to higher levels of performance.
- Ability to analyze sales data and work with a marketing team to provide strategic initiatives to continue overall and site-specific sales growth.
- Strong time-management skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times and be comfortable with prolonged and extensive periods of standing, walking, lifting, throwing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
