Clinical Director
The Clinical Director will provide leadership and oversight for the Agency’s clinical programs and licensed professionals. Responsibilities include clinical supervision, case consultation, treatment-quality monitoring, documentation review, staff development, regulatory compliance, and participation in quality-improvement and accreditation-readiness activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Current unrestricted Connecticut clinical license
- LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or another qualifying independent clinical credential
- Clinical supervisory and behavioral health leadership experience
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, Medicaid requirements, clinical documentation, and behavioral health regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Licensed clinicians will provide comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, depending on professional qualifications and program needs.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting behavioral health assessments
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing evidence-based individual, family, couples, or group therapy
- Delivering crisis intervention and safety planning when appropriate
- Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participating in treatment-team meetings and case consultations
- Coordinating referrals and continuity-of-care services
- Maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality
- Following HIPAA, ethical, payer, licensing, and Agency requirements
- Participating in quality-assurance and professional-development activities
Minimum Clinician Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related clinical field
- Current and unrestricted Connecticut LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license
- Experience providing behavioral health assessments and psychotherapy
- Knowledge of treatment planning, crisis intervention, and clinical documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain all required credentials, training, and professional liability coverage
