Summary
The position is responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment in an efficient manner to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff in adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates maintenance needs with Site Program Directors and other staff.
- Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual site checks.
- Respond to repair requests in a timely manner.
- Schedules, and obtains bids.
- Communicates with contractors.
- Monitors and updates maintenance department project tracker.
- Maintain library of user manuals for furniture, appliances and equipment.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks.
- Assists in maintaining parking, sidewalks, lawn care and landscaping as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years' experience in maintenance or facility operations is required.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing services needed to clients.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and CFR-42 client confidentiality regulations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
