Bookkeeper Job Description
A successful Solon Company seeks to hire a Part-time Bookkeeper to keep financial records, process financial documents, perform accounting work and complete basic administrative tasks. DAY ONE PROFICIENCY IN QUICKBOOKS IS ESSENTIAL!
Overview, Duties & Responsibilities
Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts
Track and report bank account balances to the Owner daily
Entering data into accounting software (Quickbooks) then filing hard copies
Entering Accounts Receivables daily
Deposit checks regularly
Paying vendor invoices weekly
Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Owner and/or Office
Reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis
Completing the Business Banking Certificate on a monthly basis
Completing the Minority Business Enterprise Certificate on an annual basis
Administrative duties as assigned

Location: In Office
Hours of employment: 16 hours to be distributed through the week as mutually agreed.
Pay Rate: As per knowledge and capabilities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
