What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Coach, Baseball position at New College of Florida?
This position will assist the Head Baseball Coach in managing the baseball team.
- Attract student-athletes who line up with our rigorous academic standards and core values
Practice and game planning execution
Work with the Athletics Department to implement a vision for New College including
Daily practice plans
Innovative statistical analysis
Building a championship culture for the program
Creating/Coaching a full slate of college games in Florida
Mentor player-athletes and create a mentorship program that will help our students
A positive influence; a program builder; strong communication and recruiting skills; strong organizational skills
- This position will require the person to work flexible hours. Weekends may be necessary depending on our game schedule.

- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
