What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Coach, Men’s/Women’s Swimming position at New College of Florida?
This part-time OPS position serves as an Assistant Swimming Coach for New College of Florida. The Assistant Coach supports the Head Swimming Coach with practices, student-athlete development, recruiting, meet preparation, and program operations. The position helps maintain a positive, competitive team environment while supporting College, conference, and NAIA requirements.Coaching: Assist the Head Swimming Coach with practice planning and execution, individual and team instruction, skill development, conditioning, meet preparation, and student-athlete development.
Recruiting: Support the identification and evaluation of prospective student-athletes; communicate with recruits, families, and coaches; and assist with campus visits and recruiting events.
Program Support: Assist with meet-day responsibilities, team travel, equipment and facility coordination, compliance-related tasks, and other duties assigned by the Head Swimming Coach.

- A Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of appropriate swimming coaching experience.
- Previous coaching experience at the intercollegiate, club, or high school level.
